The Electro Bear Guard Portable Electric Fence System

Electro Bear Guard is a portable electric fence system that protects you
and your property from bears. The kits contain every thing that is needed to
set up a portable 2 wire fence or net fence that covers up to 3000 square
feet. I also offer a customized kit for larger areas. These fence systems can
be used to protect air planes, power boats, rubber rafts, 4 wheelers (quads),
campsites, game kill sites, meat pole sites, food caches, cabins, work
camps, you name it, these systems will protect from all species of bears.

Light weight battery powered chargers have been field test by Dr. Tom
Smith a bear biologist with the USGS for the past 10 years, Dr. Smith has
never had a bear penetrate an electric fence. The National Outdoor
Leadership School tested these electric fences using bears at the Grizzly &
Wolf Discovery Center in Montana as well.

The standard kit covers up to 3000 square feet (50' x 60') and has one
charger.

Standard kit plus 1 charger, connectors, ground rod and 2 gate handles.

These would be needed if you are fishing and have a boat or ORV. You will
need 2 fence systems, one for your camp and one for the boat or ORV. OR
If you are hunting, one for your camp and ORV and one for your meat pole
site.

Electro Bear Guard Cabin
I now offer a kit for cabin owners to install around their cabins to keep the
bears out.
The kit comes with a minimum of 80 linear foot, then for additional footage
it is sold in 15 foot segments. It comes in 2 charger options. One using the
Yellow Jacket charger that has the 3 battery options (4 D cell, 6 volt, or 12
volt) so if you want to connect it to an exiting 6 or 12 volt solar system on
your cabin. The other option is a solar powered charger. It is self
contained with its own battery.

Yellow Jacket Kit $230.00 for the minimum 80'
For every 15 feet extra add $14.00 for and approximate cost

Standard electric fences do not work on gravel bars, where the earth is all gravel and river rock and no dirt sand or silt are mixed with the rocks. The
reason why it will not work in this environment is the electrical conductivity in gravel and river rock is very poor, so when the bear touches the fence with
his skin, the circuit between the fence charger and his paws on the ground will be very poor and no shock will result from this condition.

SOLUTION: ELECTRO BEAR GUARD NET
I have researched this problem and have found a fence that does not need the earth for a good grounding conductor. The fence is woven into a net
and has the hot wire and ground wire alternating every few inches apart. So if you think you will be using your bear fence on gravel bars you should
purchase this net fence. I sell a complete kit or just the fence to add to your standard kit.
